About My Clients
My current practice is focused on working with individuals ages 16 and older. I often work with clients who are experiencing anxiety or depression, struggling in their relationships, or going through a significant period of loss or transition. I also have experience working with children and younger teens/tweens. While I do not currently work directly with these younger ages, my experience has shaped how I work with all of my clients, specifically parents.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, curious, and collaborative. I will support you with both practical tools to improve your daily functioning and a space to process deeper emotions and experiences. In order to create lasting, meaningful change we will go beyond surface-level symptoms to access, process, and transform what lies underneath. I believe that growth and healing take place in connection, and I strive to form strong therapeutic relationships built on trust, empathy, and authenticity. This relationship is the most important part of therapy, as it creates the foundation on which I can most effectively support and challenge you. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more connected to yourself, confident in your ability to navigate challenges, and able to access a greater sense of peace and assurance within.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we all have an innate capacity for resilience and healing. But when we find ourselves stuck, therapy can be a helpful space to reconnect with ourselves and our strengths in order to create meaningful change. My path to being a therapist started with a desire to do work rooted in relationships and connections. It is very meaningful to me to be a therapist, and I feel grateful to have this role in my client’s lives. Much of my work has been shaped by my own experiences in therapy. I know how overwhelming it can be to reach out for support and get started. I also know how beneficial a positive therapeutic experience can be – and how important it is to find someone who feels like the right fit for you.
