About My Clients
In your first session we will begin to build a rapport and provide a safe space for you to explore feelings and recognize triggers or contributing factors of mental health issues and identify solutions to overcoming obstacles to overall wellbeing. I have experience working with those affected by eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, work difficulties, relationship struggles, and chronic illness.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker and I received my masters from Fordham University. I have worked in various settings and levels of care including outpatient, intensive in-home community, and partial hospitalization. I utilize evidence-based treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I believe that everyone has the ability to make changes in order to improve their mental and emotional wellbeing and reach their goals. I guide clients in helping them achieve their goals and overcome obstacles.
