About My Clients
We specialize in working with professional women who struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, and stress management issues. Often women come in to see us because they are noticing themselves forming bad habits to cope with anxiety and stress. We use a combination of talk therapy with solution-focused skill building to help you feel more in control and balanced.

So at Resurgence Counseling, we really aim to help you step back into your life with a renewed sense of prominence and ready to rise back to the occasion of your life with practical skills and techniques to employ. It isn’t always the easiest to ask for help and I hope we are able to offer some assistance on your journey to mental wellness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe in individualized treatment to meet the client’s needs, not the client needing to meet the treatment requirements. We believe that addiction is not a moral failure but instead a maladaptive coping strategy that is being used to solve an underlying issue such as trauma, anxiety, or depression. We believe in harm reduction models of treatment both with mental health and substance use treatment. We believe in recovery. We believe that people have a right to determine their treatment and decline treatment without fear of retaliation or rejection.
