My Background and Approach
I’m here, with training in Somatic Experiencing, to offer support as you work to understand, allow, and regulate your emotions. I’m here, with my EMDR experience, to help you identify and rewire old survival patterns that may not serve you well anymore. I’m here, drawing on my existential and feminist worldview, to help you decide what really matters to you as you plan your best life. And I’m here, with my knowledge of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, to help you set good boundaries and create more space, relaxation, and satisfying relationships. I’m here for you. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I work with adults to create a safe space where you can call on your strengths, creativity and spirituality to pursue a treatment plan specific to your needs and goals. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and various forms of trauma (including single events, like a car accident, as well as those “little” traumas that can accumulate over a lifetime).
