About My Clients
With two teen daughters and constantly striving to balance work and my own life priorities and relationship, I clearly understands the challenges of navigating daily life as well as unanticipated hurdles and life transitions. In addition to extensive training as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I bring over 25 years of business experience to each client engagement with couples, individuals, and families.
My Background and Approach
I am trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and explore the issues that currently exist in your life and how they are impacted by your important relationships. I work to build on individual strengths and support the relationships in your life. I understand most people find themselves in therapy at points of transition or unanticipated stressful life events, and I work collaboratively with our clients to provide tools that will allow for new solutions. I provide a safe space for clients to open up and speak honestly throughout the process to ensure we are always working toward client goals. My priority is to support your relationships whether at home or at work, and find positive lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone gets stuck in patterns that stop working at some point, and therapy is a mechanism to set goals and find new ways to move forward. I have a clear understanding of how complex our daily lives can be, balancing work, family, and relationships. My business experience allows me to work with clients to move forward in a better place as a team, always working toward goals that we set together. I believe everyone benefits from therapy-sometimes we all need an objective point of view to help us understand where where change can occur.
