About My Clients
My specialties include women ages 35+ who are experiencing anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem issues, burnout, and adjustment/life transitions. I focus on the whole person, looking at nutrition, hormonal influences, sleep, relationships, and movement to help women live healthier, more satisfying lives. My practice is LGBTQIA+ friendly.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in and integrate evidence-based treatments, including motivational enhancement, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), strengths-based, and acceptance and commitment (ACT) therapy, and have additional expertise in ADHD, Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health, and hormonal influences of perimenopause and menopause. While both men and women experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental disorders and life challenges, women's experiences are different from men's because of our hormonal influences. It is helpful to see someone who understands how these hormonal influences affect us. I create a safe space to partner with my clients and empower them to discover their resilience and personal strengths. From this foundation, I support my clients in identifying their challenges so they can meet their goals and make changes that will positively affect their lives and sense of self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work with women in mid-life and women with ADHD to help them feel strong, confident, and enjoy their lives. During our first sessions, we'll focus on your story, challenges, and goals, and develop a plan that fits your goals. Therapy length depends on your needs. Sessions can range from 45 to 80 minutes. Most clients experience a reduction in overwhelm and anxiety within the first few sessions.
