About My Clients
I support individuals and couples using an eclectic model, which includes EMDR for anxiety, depression and trauma-related disorders. I have a bit of a specialty in working with polyamorous/consensually nonmonogamous individuals and couples. I am experienced with ADHD, chronic illness, LGBTQIA+ issues, and perinatal emotional concerns. I also offer EMDR Intensives, so that we may get the work done in fewer sessions! I now offer walk-and-talk in-person therapy in the Central MA/MetroWest area.
My Background and Approach
My career began with working with children and families, individuals living with HIV/AIDS, individuals living with homelessness, and in program management. As a therapist, I have enjoyed helping individuals develop more effective coping skills, learn greater communication skills, and address the distress that come with experiencing trauma. My primary therapy method is EMDR. I also am trained in motivational interviewing, structural dissociation and have certification in cognitive-behavioral therapy for perinatal emotional complications. Please note that I am currently not in-network with insurance companies, and I do accept out-of-network benefits, which you may have. A superbill for submitting for partial reimbursement easily provided upon request. I also accept Lyra benefits.
