About My Clients
I work regularly with adult clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trouble within their relationships, self-esteem issues, and who are experiencing grief and loss. Most of my clients are trauma survivors. I practice from two primary modalities: Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
My Background and Approach
I have worked in my current private practice since 2015. I am extremely passionate about providing therapy and continue to pursue advanced training in EFT and AEDP. This field has taught me to never stop learning, and that often my best teachers are my patients. Whether they realize it or not, each patient ultimately shows me where I may need to continue growing and learning; they also inspire me to continue learning in order to provide many treatment options. I have found that patients do not benefit from a “one size fits all” approach. I feel truly grateful and honored to do this work and be allowed to hear my patients stories in the safety of my office. I look forward to many years of work to come in this field and hope you can join me along the way!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that change is always possible! I believe that the primary reason we develop mental health issues is from experiencing overwhelming emotion in the face of unwanted aloneness. My mission through our work together is to help you undo your aloneness.
