About My Clients
I have experience with children/adolescents and adults in both individual and group therapy settings at all levels of care, including inpatient hospitalization. My areas of specialty include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, survivors of domestic violence, substance use, LGBTQA+ populations, peri/post-natal women, suicidality and self harm, women's issues, parenting skills, and children and adolescents.
My Background and Approach
As a clinician, I am known to be down-to-earth, pragmatic, energetic, solutions-focused, genuine, empathetic, accepting, direct, and supportive. I have worked with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds, and is inclusive and accepting to all both personally and professionally. I use an integrated and custom approach to each client's care, with a predominant emphasis on strengths-based skills building and empowerment. As a Registered Art Therapist, I can also provide art therapy services in addition to traditional talk therapy methods.
