About My Clients
My clients have struggled with body image, eating issues, compassion fatigue, moral injury, and/or burnout. Many have a history of complex trauma and attachment wounds. I specialize in caring for other healthcare workers.
My Background and Approach
I am a culturally humble clinician, practicing from an anti-oppressive and fat positive framework. She focuses primarily on trauma, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders from an embracive perspective incorporating the mind and body together. As a former nurse, I also specializes in helping others in the healthcare field as they may struggle with moral injury, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, burnout, and other work-related stressors. I strive to help others overcome obstacles through mental health education, psychotherapy, community advocacy, and a supportive and inspirational environment. I use an integration of Polyvagal Theory, DBT, Psychodynamic Theory, and Sensorimotor interventions with her clients. I continue to pursue neuroscience and anti-racism activism and publication as well as seeking out novel approaches to mental healthcare and physical healthcare integration. I received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am fat-positive, pro-abortion, and believe BLM. I am queer and neurodivergent myself and am affirming or LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse populations.
