My Background and Approach
Clients come to me looking for a therapist who is a warm, knowledgeable collaborator and who "gets" it, because therapy should be a place where you feel seen, heard, and empowered. Sessions with me are based around your unique needs and preferences, and will involve talking as well as learning and practicing skills. Together, we identify things keeping you stuck and develop a sense of balance, increased confidence, and hope for your future. We always go at your pace, never pushing to a place you don't feel ready to be. As an experienced anxiety, stress, and trauma therapist, I believe that you are an expert in your experiences and you absolutely can create a life that fulfills you rather than constantly drains and worries you. You can have relationships where your voice is heard and your needs matter. You don’t have to continue feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or powerless, and you don’t have to do it alone.
