I am a trauma and behavioral expert working to help children, teens, and their families heal and thrive at home, in school and in relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a bilingual (English and Spanish Speaking) social worker specializing with extensive clinical experience working with sexual abused children and non-offending caregivers and their family members. I also have experience in crisis intervention, play therapy, grief and trauma and am fully trained in EMDR. My years of experience working at The Children’s Assessment Center in Houston gave me a broad range of experience working with children, teens, and families suffering with the effects of abuse as well as mood disorders, suicidal ideation, and behavioral issues. I also have previous experience working in Communities in Schools facilitating groups on social skills and anger management, working with at-risk youth and providing in depth assessment services. My training and experience has equipped me to work with some of the most difficult and challenging situations. I am dedicating to helping your child reach their full potential and thrive!
