About My Clients
I utilize creativity, storytelling, body awareness, metaphors, visualizations, and humor to create a safe environment for clients to discover, process, and practice new ways of being human. I have experience working with teenagers, young adults, and middle-aged adults struggling with life transitions, grief, processing childhood trauma, gender expression, communication, family dynamics, depression, self-harm, anxiety, self-esteem, and relationship issues.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative, and my goal is for you to leave therapy with an increased capacity for joy and connection as well ample techniques and skills in your toolbox that you can use throughout your life. In addition to working with teens, couples, and young adults, I also have a background working with entertainment industry professionals, musicians, and the LGBTQI community, as well as clients struggling with issues related to codependency, creative blocks, self-esteem, romantic partnerships, transitioning into adulthood, anxiety, depression, and individuation. My therapeutic foundation is systemic, relational, existential, and strengths-based, integrating CBT framework and attachment-based processes and emphasizing self-compassion, and neuropsychology.
