About My Clients
I love working with those who are searching to find and make a meaningful narrative of their lives; people who desire to know themselves better; people who are willing to step in, be seen, and rework their pain and trauma. I love to share the tools of self-compassion, loving-kindness, and mindful awareness. I enjoy creating an oasis where clients can workshop the intricacies of life into well-organized supports that propel them into satisfaction and ease.
My Background and Approach
Jennifer Ott has taught and facilitated personal development and communication workshops nationwide, led mindfulness and wellness retreats, is a yoga and meditation instructor and practitioner, has completed specialized studies in the psychology of eating, nutrition and holistic life coaching, her bachelor's degree in psychology of human behavior and masters degree in the science of counseling. She is currently engaged in year two of a three-year certificate study of Somatic Experiencing, a body-centered approach to addressing nervous system regulation and complex trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I enjoy inquiry, mystery, and making spaces that are safe, nourishing, and restoring. I believe in each person's inherent beauty and that the answers they need are within them if only given the right conditions to be acknowledged and grown. I am comfortable in discomfort and find joy in adventuring deep into the psyche. I think there is something to love in everyone, and that through compassion, non-judgment, and grace all of us thrive.
