Other client's like to discuss the finding meaning of life, trauma, body image or health-related concerns. Life can be overwhelming and deserve to have a space to been seen or heard.
My Background and Approach
Don’t believe the critics, therapy is accessible and much less daunting than it may appear. As a therapist, my ultimate aim is to make you feel safe, acknowledged and heard. You deserve to have someone by your side who will listen attentively to both your proudest moments and the challenges you face. It's my mission to foster an environment of trust and openness, allowing you to freely explore the various stressors in your life while providing unwavering support on your journey towards developing more fulfilling and healthier relationships—with yourself and with others. I am a strong believer in offering therapeutic services that are culturally competent and genuine. I understand that no two individuals are alike, which is why I tailor my approach to your unique needs. Drawing from a range of modalities and techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, mindfulness practices, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, I adapt my methods to best serve you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Something to know about me is that it took me a while to find my voice and in finding my voice I found my purpose. On the journey to finding my voice and purpose, I looked inward and realized I am the narrator of my story even if the setting changes. Think of settings as those unforeseen circumstances or obstacles. I believe that truth applies to everyone. You have the power to change the trajectory of your story. What I recommend to find and hold onto that power that you already possess can range from various practices like mindfulness, shadow work, or better connecting the mind, body, nature, spirituality or religion. These avenues can empower you to find and embrace that inner strength.I am an advocate for my clients' growth, offering unwavering support no matter the circumstance. I firmly reject the notion of judgment and instead promote an atmosphere of grace and understanding. When I'm not providing mental health services, I devote time to nurturing my own well-being.
