Jennifer has worked primarily in psychiatric settings and has over ten years of experiencing working with individuals that struggle with unipolar and bipolar depression and anxiety. Jennifer is knowledgeable about the role medications play in maintaining optimal mental health.

Jennifer is trained to utilize eye-movement sensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR). This is a standard in some European countries for those diagnosed with PTSD. Jennifer recognizes importance of utilizing a combination of talk-therapy alongside EMDR to aid with processing trauma. Jennifer has experience working with adolescents and adults. Jennifer has helped those who are first responders as well and has experience as a first responder.

Jennifer has substantial knowledge and training with suicidal ideation, assessment, appropriate intervention, and supports that are crucial to maintaining safety and well-being. Jennifer is open and comfortable with talking about topics surrounding suicide and homicidal ideation. Jennifer recognizes that hospitalization is not always the appropriate method for safety. Jennifer will walk you through developing a safety plan.

Jennifer has many years of experience in providing solution focused treatment to individual in inpatient and residential treatment settings. Jennifer wants people to get well quickly and strives to provide concrete, and straightforward treatment procedures if and when it is appropriate. An integrative approach is always used as one modality does not fit all needs.
