About My Clients
Does life feel heavy because of past trauma, betrayal, grief, abuse, or broken trust? Are anxiety, depression, or painful relationship patterns affecting your boundaries, communication, confidence, or sense of self? You may feel overwhelmed, guarded, or stuck, wanting peace and stability but unsure how to move forward. You don’t have to keep carrying it alone. Therapy can help you understand your triggers, rebuild confidence, and create healthier patterns at a pace that feels safe for you.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC. I provide telehealth therapy to adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, and major life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and person-centered. Together, we can unpack difficult experiences with compassion and without judgment. I use CBT, motivational interviewing, emotional-regulation skills, mindfulness, and practical coping strategies to help you understand triggers, strengthen boundaries, improve communication, and build healthier relationships. Your culture, identity, values, and lived experiences are welcomed and respected here. I strive to create a warm, affirming space where you can show up as your full self and move toward healing at a pace that feels right for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and respected. I value compassion, authenticity, cultural humility, and the understanding that each person is the expert on their own life. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities and honor how culture, family, faith, relationships, and lived experiences can shape mental health. My goal is to provide a warm, affirming space where you can be your full self without judgment.
