About My Clients
She treats mental health and substance use disorders. She provides services to teens, adults, first responders, and veterans in individual and group therapy. Her area of practice includes eating disorders, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger management, pain management, schizophrenia, trauma, substance abuse, perpetrators of domestic violence, and co-occurring disorders.
My Background and Approach
She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC). She obtained her associate degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix, a bachelor’s degree in social work from Carthage College, and a master’s degree in clinical social work from Aurora University. She has worked as a private practice psychotherapist and clinical substance use counselor for the past 9 years. Before working in private practice, she worked with inmates in the local jails, as a crisis counselor, and answering a crisis phone line.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to lead a happy and fulfilling life. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are integral to overall health, and that therapy can be a powerful tool for achieving this balance.
