About My Clients
I help clients who feel anxious, overwhelmed, and disconnected from who they used to be. You may be exhausted from trying to manage the same thoughts, emotions, and memories that keep showing up, no matter how hard you work on yourself. You don’t have to stay stuck in that cycle. Using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and other effective approaches, I help you find calm, confidence, and relief so you can feel like yourself again and QUICKLY (only 1-5 ART sessions) before lasting results.
My Background and Approach
As an advanced certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) practitioner and trauma expert, I help clients find lasting relief from anxiety, trauma, and overwhelm. My approach is gentle, focused, and rooted in compassion. ART allows the brain to process painful memories and emotions quickly and effectively, without needing months of therapy or any homework. Many clients notice meaningful change in just a few sessions. I also specialize in perinatal and maternal mental health, supporting mothers through postpartum transitions, and the complex emotions that can surface especially after a traumatic birth, loss, infertility or postpartum. My background in trauma recovery helps me guide clients toward healing that feels safe, empowering, and sustainable. Whether you’re navigating major life changes, lingering stress, or emotional exhaustion, or unhealthy habits/coping skills, I’ll meet you where you are and help you reconnect with calm, confidence, and a renewed sense of self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves the ability to heal. As a trauma therapist in Groton, CT, I help people release anxiety, trauma, and overwhelm through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART heals one person every hour somewhere in the world, and I like to say I’m healing the world one ART hour at a time. My goal is to make healing feel safe, genuine, and full of hope. When I’m not in session, you’ll find me facilitating guided meditations with EmpowerHER, leading women’s retreats, offering Reiki, or recharging by the ocean. I love walking in the woods with my family, traveling, exploring new cultures and food, and spending time with my best friend, my 16-year-old Shih Tzu. I believe every moment of calm and connection ripples outward, healing the world one person, one session, one hour at a time.
