I work with individuals working through conflict with family members, coworkers, and community members. I also work through trauma and crisis with those who have experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Couples in my office experience communication issues, betrayal, addiction, and may be considering separation and divorce. The ability to share directly and to respond with empathy can be keys to conflict resolution.

I am a certified sex therapist. I work with individuals dealing with sexual abuse, sexual addiction, and sexual aversion. I also help individuals and couples with sexual functioning challenges such as vaginal pain, lack of orgasm, low desire, erectile dysfunction, and premature or delayed ejaculation. I am the author of The Art of Intimate Marriage and provide training to therapists worldwide wanting to specialize in sex therapy.

I am a certified chemical dependency counselor. I work with individuals dealing with substance and behavioral addictions. I also work with couples needing couples recovery support. Couples recovery for addiction can be an integral part of long term success in recovery. I am the author of The Ransomed Journey: Couples Recovery from Addiction and I provide training for therapists world wide who want increased skills in working with addiction for individuals and couples.

I am an experiential humanistic therapist, working within the session on where emotions may be felt viscerally in the body. I use hands on tools during session and send individuals home with experiential exercises. My clients engage in session with in vivo exercises or roleplay to explore internally and relationally.

I am an EFT trained therapist and I help couples focus on the interaction patterns they engage in, in order to bring them to transformative emotional experiences. Individvuals and couples work toward secure attachment and partner responsiveness with vulnerability and expressiveness.

I utilize the ACT approach with distressed emotions and thoughts, experiences of depression, anxiety and OCD, and concerns with sexuality. This approach allows clients to build a new relationship with these troubled feelings and ways of thinking while finding a path to a meaningful, values-based life.
