About My Clients
My ideal client feels trapped by anxious thoughts, overanalyzing decisions, or repeating behaviors to find relief—only to feel stuck again. Fear, panic, avoidance, or compulsions may be making life feel smaller over time. They may struggle with anxiety, OCD, social fears, phobias, BFRBs, depression, or trauma, and are ready for effective, supportive treatment to regain control and confidence.
My Background and Approach
The work we’ll do together is practical, focused, and built around tools I’ve refined through years of helping people struggling with anxiety, OCD, panic, and related challenges. My goal is not just insight, but relief you can actually feel. I want you to leave therapy with a set of reliable strategies—multiple tools you can carry with you at all times—so no matter where you are, you have ways to calm your body, steady your thoughts, and interrupt the cycles that keep you stuck. I take a direct, solution-focused approach while remaining collaborative and supportive. We’ll start with what’s affecting you right now, working in the moment to reduce anxiety, panic, avoidance, or compulsive behaviors. I draw from evidence-based treatments such as CBT, ERP, and ACT, and I tailor our work to your unique experiences and goals. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening in your brain and body when fear takes over, so you can respond differently rather than feeling overwhelmed or out of control.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that many people are not broken, but stuck in patterns shaped by fear, doubt, and the understandable desire to feel safe. When thoughts become overwhelming, every decision can feel heavy, daily life exhausting, and certainty impossible to reach. Avoidance and repeated mental or physical rituals may offer brief relief, yet often shrink a person’s world over time. I believe these experiences are not signs of weakness, but signals that the mind is working hard to protect itself—sometimes in ways that no longer serve you. My approach to therapy is rooted in collaboration and respect. I believe clients are experts on their own inner world, and meaningful change happens when clinical knowledge is paired with that lived experience. Together, we identify patterns that keep you stuck and use evidence-based strategies in a thoughtful, individualized way to support the changes you want to make. Therapy is not about forcing certainty or eliminating thoughts, but about learning new ways
