About My Clients

I end up working with people with a range of diagnoses and experiences, and we would work together to determine your goals. We would try to find a balance between learning how to be more accepting and appreciative of yourself right now, while also working to create meaningful change in the areas in which you want to move beyond just surviving to thriving. I particularly enjoy working with people who are exploring gender and sexuality as well as non-traditional relationships.

My Background and Approach

I received my Masters degree from Boston University and specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I get to know my clients before developing an individualized treatment plan that takes into account your history and goals. My sessions are focused on support as well as making changes in thought patterns and learning new, healthy ways to cope effectively.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a member of the LGBTQ community, I am committed to providing effective, compassionate care to this community in particular. I supervise at a Gender Clinic and a considerable amount of my practice is centered around marginalized communities.
