About My Clients
I work with adults who are new to therapy and may feel unsure about where to begin. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, or just feeling stuck, I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s going on—at your pace, and without pressure. If you're nervous about starting therapy, you're not alone. Many of my clients come in feeling unsure or hesitant, especially if it’s their first time.
My Background and Approach
My path to becoming a therapist started with a deep desire to help others feel seen and understood. I earned degrees in Family Resources & Human Development and Therapeutic Recreation from Arizona State University, then completed my Master’s in Professional Counseling at Grand Canyon University. Since then, I’ve worked in a range of mental health settings—from crisis counseling to private practice—all with the goal of helping people heal and grow. My approach to therapy is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I won’t just sit and nod—I’ll meet you where you are, offer honest feedback, and help you see things from new perspectives. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s holding you back and find tools that actually fit your life. One of my strengths is helping people feel comfortable quickly—clients often tell me they’re surprised at how easy it is to open up. I focus on building a real connection, so you don’t have to “have it all figure out” before we begin.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of work, I’m a mom who loves cheering on my kids at sports events and going to live concerts. These moments of connection and joy are a big part of who I am—and I bring that same energy and presence into my work with clients. If you're ready to take the first step, I’m here to walk alongside you.
