When we are suffering we usually want nothing more than relief as soon as reasonably possible. Since we are deeply meaning making humans, we are often inevitably the creators of our own realities. If we are the author of our own life stories then we can learn to intentionally write our life journey's. Often through solution seeking, exploration of thoughtful questions, and discovery of innate strengths and resources, new possibilities can unfold.

Suffering is often our pain times our resistance. Coming to a form of acceptance (and psychological flexibility) does not mean that we like the pain points in our life but that they no longer have the power over us. Once we learn how to unhook from difficult thoughts, feelings, sensations, and memories we are able to more optimally live life aligned with our values and be the person we choose to be and do the things that matter in the here and now present moment.
As a fellow life traveler, I serve as a trusted guide and see the person in front of me as a whole person and emphasize your skills, individual characteristics, and innate strengths towards healing and personal fulfillment in the here and now.
