About My Clients

I help successful people begin to feel whole and worthy. The same behaviors that help you to be successful in your career don't usually help you to be successful in your personal life. Often, the harder you work to be perfect in your personal life, the harder it is to hold everything together. I will help you learn a simple and unique process to align your heart and your head to experience the relief and growth you have been seeking.

My Background and Approach

I believe that how we think, affects how we feel, which in turn changes our behaviors. If we can identify underlying beliefs that are no longer working for us we can begin to experience relief in our emotional life as well as create the behaviors we want to see. I am trained if trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy which means that our beliefs from our past can still affect us today no matter how much we don't want it to. Using the foundations of neuroscience, I help teach your brain how to better manage stress, anxiety, and trauma. Throughout my years of experience and training, I have developed a 4 step method that clients report has made a huge difference in their lives. This process helps you know where there is misalignment and teaches you how to realign your heart and head. I teach this process to all of my clients so that they can continue to grow and thrive long past our time together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a huge advocate for mental health. I have been a volunteer facilitator for NAMI's and Georgia Public Safety Training Center's Crisis Intervention Training program for 10 years. In this program, we educate first responders such as police or EMT about mental illness and how to use a variety of non violent crisis intervention skills. I believe that mental health care is the same as medical health care and should be treated as such. I advocate against the stigma of mental health care and encourage open communication to remove the stigma. I also advocate that self care is really health care and should be treated like any other medical treatment.
