About My Clients
Do you struggle with low mood and intrusive, anxious thoughts or are you the parent of a teen who is dealing with these challenges? Therapeutic intervention with a trained professional can help get you or your child on the path towards stability and confidence. I have a great deal of experience working with individuals ages 13 – 30 years old. I am very passionate about strengthening relationships as well as empowering individuals by accessing and utilizing their own strength and resilience.
My Background and Approach
I have a Masters Degree in Social Work and am in the process of becoming licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, a type of cognitive behavioral therapy which teaches clients skills to cope with emotional challenges and change unhealthy behaviors. I am also basic certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy – a type of therapy which works to reprogram the way in which distressing memories are stored in the brain.
