About My Clients
Life is often hard, and you don’t have to go it alone. I am here if you’re seeking to build stronger attachments in your relationships, navigating significant life transitions, processing the pain and complexity of grief and loss, feeling stuck or unsure of your life’s path, struggling with your identity, or wanting to better understand how past experiences inform your present-day decisions.
My Background and Approach
I work primarily from a psychodynamic lens, which means that I help individuals and couples recognize how their past experiences provide important insights into their present-day emotional difficulties. Early life attachment figures and experiences can have a significant impact on an individual’s life and their interpersonal relationships. These experiences with others are internalized and unconsciously repeated in the present. The psychodynamic process allows individuals and couples to uncover the root of their problems so they can understand themselves better, their patterns, and work toward lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I embrace the human messiness that we call life. It’s okay to be vulnerable. I’m a firm believer in the power of therapy to renew one’s spirit and bring about lasting change. I should know because therapy helped me overcome my insecurities, heal from grief and loss, and better understand the roots of my relationship issues. We all have the capacity for growth and healing. I welcome the opportunity to assist you in your journey toward living a life with more clarity, resilience, and authenticity.
