About My Clients
You may be dealing with anxiety, relationship strain, or a life transition that feels harder than it should. On the surface, things may look manageable, but internally something feels off or unresolved. I work with adults who are thoughtful and capable but feel stuck—especially in relationships or in how they respond to stress. Some come in with something specific; others are trying to understand something more complex or hard to name.
My Background and Approach
Our work starts with what’s happening in your life right now—what feels difficult or unclear. From there, we take the time to understand it more fully, rather than rushing to fix it. Sessions are conversational and collaborative. At times the work is more focused. At other times, we slow things down and look more closely at your responses, your relationships, and how things begin to take shape over time. I don’t work in a fixed or formulaic way. The pace and focus shift depending on what’s needed. Some people come for short-term support. Others stay longer and work more in depth. Both are part of the work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I see therapy as a space to slow things down enough to understand what’s actually going on, rather than just getting through it. People often come in unsure how to fully explain what they’re experiencing, and part of the work is making that clearer. I don’t approach people as problems to be fixed. I’m interested in how your experiences, relationships, and ways of coping have shaped where you are now—and what no longer feels right. It’s important to me that people feel genuinely seen and understood in that process. I value a way of working that is steady, thoughtful, and direct. There’s room to be honest and reflective, while also staying grounded in what matters in your life now. More broadly, I believe people make sense in the context of their lives. Therapy isn’t about becoming someone different, but about understanding yourself more clearly and relating to your life in a way that feels more intentional and aligned.
