About My Clients
I work with people experiencing anxiety, OCD, symptoms of CPTSD/PTSD, self-esteem, and relationship issues. My goal is to guide you in identifying your needs and how to meet them with self-compassion. We will differentiate between familial, societal, and cultural conditioning from your own inner guide so that you can live more in alignment.
My Background and Approach
I most often utilize modalities including; mindfulness (presence, intentional awareness, consciousness, and breath work), cognitive behavioral therapy (exploration of how your thoughts influence feelings and behaviors), psychodynamic techniques (childhood adaptations, pattern recognition), somatic techniques (paying attention to how emotions show up in the body), and Internal Family Systems (inner child work, observance of different parts of you). I encourage self-compassion and practice in the shifting of everyday habits. My hope is that you feel safe and empowered to create sustainable changes in mindsets, actions, and relationships in the ways that you are seeking. I value communication, transparency, and collaboration throughout our time together. My presence is genuine. I love doing this work and feel honored to be a part of other’s journeys in this unique way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I understand what it’s like to be a client, as I’ve been in therapy consistently for a decade. I have felt the power of therapy in my own life and ‘practice what I preach.’ In addition to personal development, I am always learning and growing as a therapist and professional. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have a wide range of experience and training in different therapeutic environments.
