About My Clients
I specialize in working with teens and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress. Many are facing academic pressure, social challenges, or life transitions. I provide a supportive space to talk, build coping skills, and improve well-being. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded and in control of their emotional well-being. I believe meaningful change starts with a strong, trusting relationship.
My Background and Approach
With 15 years of experience in the field of Social Work, I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and their families. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and client-centered, pulling from a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet the unique needs of each individual. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), among others. This flexible, integrative style allows me to adapt to each person’s strengths, challenges, and goals. I have extensive experience in emergency mental health and crisis intervention, which allows me to stay grounded and responsive even in high-stress or emotionally intense moments. I offer a calm, supportive presence and practical tools to help clients move through challenges with confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about this work because I believe in the resilience of young people — and I’ve seen how powerful therapy can be when clients feel safe, respected, and truly heard. Supporting people in their most vulnerable moments is an honor, and I deeply value the trust my clients place in me.
