About My Clients
I work with folks struggling to live in this country right now. They are constantly on edge and navigating life at the intersections of minority stress, feeling unseen and abandonment issues. Feeling defeated. Just being themselves in this political climate is beyond stressful, not to mention the struggles that came before. They often feel overwhelmed and invalidated simply for being themselves. Self-doubt, masking, fear... it makes the day to day feel unbearable
My Background and Approach
Using a relatable, conversational, and trauma-informed approach, I help clients understand how their relational experiences influence their emotional patterns, behaviors, and relationships. Using neuroscience based approaches like EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies, I help clients make sense of their experiences to build a more compassionate understanding of themselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about equity and diversity in all rights. I'm body positive, sex positive, queer and trans supportive and I do not believe in gender stereotyping or preventing folks of any identity to live free and access the health care that they need. Dogs are my spirit animal. I support no kings and see this country as stolen lands inhabited by immigrants of all kinds. I volunteer at local pride events, attend protests and support local rescue organizations for furry friends.
