About My Clients
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My passion is in helping individuals who struggle with trauma, whether it is childhood or adult onset. Once we have developed a comfortable and positive therapeutic relationship, you will begin to see this as your safe space to share and be YOU. Together we will create a treatment plan that works for you. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach! You are the author of your own story, and I am simply a guide.
My Background and Approach
I have an MA in Counseling and Community Psychology from Sage Graduate College of Albany. Although my focus is primarily on mental health, I also am a certified addiction counselor. I've worked in the Capital District for many years both in non-for-profit and private practice. My experience mainly lies in treating Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Trauma/PTSD. I utilize various modalities, depending on individual clients' needs, including the following: CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness-Based Therapies.
