About My Clients

As a Latina, bilingual therapist, I provide a supportive space for young adults navigating first-generation challenges, racial identity, immigration, relationships, trauma, life transitions, anger, depression, and anxiety. Using EMDR and DBT, I help clients heal, build resilience, and manage stress. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. If you're seeking a therapist who understands your experiences, I’d love to support you.

My Background and Approach

I’m a licensed bilingual therapist (LMSW) trained in EMDR and DBT, dedicated to supporting young adults, kids, and teens as they navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in working with first-generation individuals who are balancing cultural expectations, racial identity, immigration-related stress, and family dynamics. I also help clients struggling with relationships, trauma, life transitions, anger, depression, and anxiety. For children and teens, I provide a supportive space to address behavioral challenges, perfectionism, and emotional regulation difficulties. I understand that young people often struggle to express their emotions, which can show up as frustration, withdrawal, or self-doubt. My approach is compassionate, interactive, and tailored to their unique needs. Using EMDR and DBT, I help clients process past experiences, build resilience, and develop coping strategies for long-term emotional well-being. My goal is to create a safe, culturally responsive space for healing

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a first-generation Latina and daughter of immigrants, I understand the complexities of navigating multiple identities and cultural expectations. I am passionate about social justice and committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for healing. While my Christian faith shapes my values, I respect all backgrounds and incorporate my faith as needed. I advocate for immigrant rights, racial equity, and mental health awareness, believing that everyone deserves support and empowerment.
