My Background and Approach
The therapy I practice combines Motivational Interviewing (which allows individuals to identify "their own" need for change), Humanistic Therapy ( an approach which emphasizes acceptance and understanding so that individuals can share their deepest most painful struggles) and CBT (identifying and replacing unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns that perpetuate problems). Therapy is also tailored to each individuals unique experience and history.
