About My Clients
My practice specializes in individual therapy for young adults (18-40) who are feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, or experiencing adjustment issues. I enjoy working with college students and adults in their 20's and 30's to better cope with the stressors that typically accompany this time in life (ie college, work/career, relationships, and family). I hope to support you with coping tools and strategies to better navigate life’s challenges so that you can feel calm and confident!
My Background and Approach
I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but use a variety of techniques to help tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals. My style is collaborative, supportive, and non-judgmental. I like to keep it real and often use humor. I believe it's important for you to feel comfortable to be your real, authentic self in therapy. I earned my masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from the State University or New York at Oswego in 2008. Prior to that I earned my bachelors degree in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish, from Le Moyne College in 2006. Over the years I've been employed in numerous mental health agencies before transitioning exclusively to private practice.
