When we have experienced trauma, be them major trauma or smaller events, it can impact us in many ways. If you have experienced a trauma and have not been able to process the event (s) I am here for you. I work with clients who have had various types of trauma to reprocess and make sense these events so that they can regain control.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist in both California and Texas. I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), addiction counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Parent Project Certified. I have been providing therapy services to children, teens, and adults through individual, couples, and family sessions for over 10 years. Although I focus a great deal of my services toward trauma treatment, I also provide parenting counseling, depression and anxiety management, addiction counseling, and conflict management.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves to have safe, happy, and fulfilling relationships. Although many of us have experienced relationship trauma and life trauma, that does not need to define us. I believe that now is the time for you to take control of your life and work to reach your goals. I attempt to make my high quality therapy as accessible as possible by providing virtual services. This means that you are able to attend an EMDR or TFCBT therapy session from where ever you feel most comfortable. I also work to allow my clients to schedule their session time when it is more convent for them, be it in the morning, mid day or evening.
