About My Clients
With over 15 years experience in the mental health field, I help clients with managing depression and anxiety, coping with a major (or minor) life transition, having healthier relationships, improving self-esteem, learning self-compassion/mindfulness, quieting your critical inner voice, better stress mgm't and frustration tolerance, recovering from PPD/PPA/Birth Trauma, softening perfectionism, and healing wounds from childhood/family of origin dynamics, among others.
My Background and Approach
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Georgia and my Masters of Social Work from New York University's Silver School of Social Work. I have also done specialized training in treating pre-and postnatal mood and anxiety issues with certification from Postpartum Support International in Perinatal Mood and AnxietyDisorders (PMAD) Components of Care & Advanced Psychotherapy training in perinatal and maternal mental health. I am also a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator.
