About My Clients
I am currently working with adults, predominantly women in all stages of life, who are coping with anxiety, depression, life stage transitions, times of adjustment, and who are navigating interpersonal issues with friends and family. Life has been challenging recently, and consequently during times of stress and change we often put ourselves last on the to-do list and go into autopilot mode. I will help you explore new and healthy ways to move forward on your personal journey to wellness.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. I come to the field of counseling from a solid marriage of 25 years, as a parent of adult and teenage children, and living out additional roles of daughter, sister, friend and Christian. I believe whole-heartedly in a strengths-based, holistic approach to counseling. No matter who you are, what your past has entailed, or what you are going through today, you have a set of unique strengths and a capacity to grow and thrive. Together we can work to identify old ways of thinking and doing that may no longer be serving you or your relationships well and explore new and healthier ways of being. I strive to offer my clients usable tools they can think about and employ in their day to day living and consider any step forward in the name of intentional care for yourself an achievement worth celebrating.
