About My Clients
Do you feel trapped by overwhelming anxiety or sadness? Does your life seem to be a never ending struggle or emotions? Whether it is relationship issues, addiction, infertility, grief, aging, or the many other issues in life...therapy can help. Therapy is provided over telehealth or in person.
My Background and Approach
I received my MSW from Boston College with a certification in trauma. I have training in perinatal mood disorders and experience working with infertility. It is not easy to go to endless appointment just to manage hormone levels or to conceive. My goal is for you to find peace with whatever stage of the process you are in and help you to cope. I have worked side-by-side with individuals living with chronic illness as well as those dying with terminal illness. I have helped families create a self-care plan for themselves, cope with anticipatory grief and bereavement, and find meaning in their new stage of life. I have vast knowledge of the 12-step program and enjoy working with addicts as well as adult children of addicts and alcoholics. I am in my second year of training to become a Psychoanalyst and provide a space to explore the unconscious mind through dreams, transference, and free association.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and because of this and my training in psychoanalysis, I see patients anywhere from 1-4x a week depending on their need, desire for growth, and access to treatment. I believe that each stage of life can be filled with memories to mourn, memories to be made, and times to enjoy. Together we will sort through it all and find ways to bring peace and happiness back into your life.
