About My Clients

I work with clients who are striving to grow and become the best versions of themselves. Every person walks a unique and individual life path. I am here to walk alongside you as you navigate your own life path. Whether that means improving self-esteem, learning self-compassion, navigating life stressors, etc. I believe every client is an expert on their own life and merely need a space to grow and flourish.

My Background and Approach

I work from a holistic, person-centered approach. This means that I seek to understand who you are as an individual in all aspects of your identity. I aim for a collaborative approach and will always prioritize your input and feedback to ensure that you are getting the best out of me as a therapist. I started my work in the field as a substance use counselor working with previously incarcerated people. It was an experience that I still carry with me. It was this experience that also taught me the importance of working from a social justice framework as well.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a firm supporter of LGBTQ+ rights as a human rights issue. Being that I often work through a social justice lens, I aim to provide a safe space for all marginalized identities. As a child of immigrants from a working class background, my own lived experiences and beliefs have shaped the way I work with clients, as appropriate.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
