About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, women, and families facing life transitions, emotional challenges, and behavioral concerns. I help clients identify root causes, develop healthy coping skills, and build stronger relationships in a supportive, nonjudgmental space.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a B.A. in Psychology from Lourdes University and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, with a specialization in Child Studies. I have experience in school, home, clinical, and residential settings, working with children, adolescents, women, and families. My approach is warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I prioritize creating a safe space where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges. I focus on identifying contributing factors to symptoms and behaviors, teaching healthy coping strategies, and shifting maladaptive thoughts. I believe in the power of connection and offer unconditional positive regard to each client. I understand that life transitions can be overwhelming and that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. My goal is to support clients through their unique journey, helping them find balance, resilience, and personal fulfillment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in creating a warm, nonjudgmental, and safe space where clients feel supported and understood. I value building genuine connections and offering unconditional positive regard. I believe that safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship foster growth. I recognize that life and parenting don’t come with a universal guide, and each person’s path is unique. My goal is to help clients find balance, build resilience, and feel empowered through all of life’s transitions and challenges.
