About My Clients
If you find yourself feeling out of balance and overwhelmed, I invite you to start your journey to find your balance. You are not alone, we will take this leap together to find out what harmony means to you.
How I Can Help You
Parenting is hard, especially if you or your child (or both) are neurodivergent. Find another layer of support for yourself and your family. I hope that this journey will allow you to feel like you have a parenting partner. You and your family are unique and may not fit the preconceived expectations that society and traditional education and work environments have for us. I believe in a holistic, strength-based approach connecting the mind and body to find balance and stability. Using mindfulness, a neurodiverse-affirming lens, and integrative therapeutic practices to work through the various emotions, thoughts, and feelings that may arise in a session. I have both professional and personal experience with neurodiversity, I work with, families, adults, and parents to help them be better allies and advocates for their needs. Let’s collaborate and work together to find your strengths, your child’s strengths, and how these can elevate your family to a place of equilibrium and joy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I received a late diagnosis of ADHD just before I became a parent. It wasn't a surprise but more of a relief and validation. Some things just felt harder and I was given the message that if I just "tried harder" I would be able to do it. Digging deeper into neuroscience and understanding how the brain works has been a life-changer for me as I parent my neurodivergent kid. It has become crystal clear that most systems are designed for individuals who have a certain type of brain, expectations, environmental settings, educational settings, curriculums, activities, and experiences. I hope to work with you and your family to find opportunities for comfort, balance, and joy.
