About My Clients

You deserve care, support, and a safe place to be heard. Therapy can help to provide immediate, practical support and skills to help “right now”. It can also heal deeper core issues that lie underneath the surface of current problems. Would you like to decrease anxiety, depression & other symptoms of concern? Do you need support for your healing through life transitions, losses, and traumas? Reach out!

My Background and Approach

I believe that YOU are the expert in your life and giving priority to understand your specific needs is paramount. Therapy isn’t one size fits all. That’s why I partner with you to discover the solutions and therapy support that fit your unique journey. Let’s make a plan that works for you! As a trained Marriage and Family therapist I treat clients within the context of their relationships, and the greater systems impacting their life experiences. I have an eclectic therapy approach including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and several others. I am also a trauma trained therapist, understanding that sometimes traumas and unsafe life experiences block us from our normal healing capacity. Traditional “talk therapy” may not be enough to help with trauma and can sometimes leave a person feeling stuck or unable to make progress. Instead, we can use EMDR to work through stuck trauma to help you make the progress you are hoping for.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I really love my job. Therapy work is important and I feel honored to participate in this sacred space. I also strongly believe that therapists should do their own healing work in therapy, and I am open about the experiences I have as a client myself. You aren’t alone in navigating what it feels like on the other side of the therapy room. Some of my life experiences include motherhood which included the heartache of miscarriage, marital adjustments and postpartum transitions. I have also experienced the impact of intense spiritual transitions and religious trauma first hand. Learning to work through my body's responses to trauma and stress has been a life changing experience. In addition to my role as a therapist, I love the outdoors and often drag my reluctant family on a weekend hike or camping trip. The adventure of walking down a newly discovered trail never gets old for me.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following
  • Agnosticism
  • Atheism
  • Christianity
  • Interfaith
  • Multifaith
