My Background and Approach
I have more than 17 years of experience working with individuals and families from a variety of age ranges and backgrounds. I earned my Master of Social Work Degree from New York University and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey (44SC05283600) and New York (088138). My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I feel it is essential to create a safe, supportive space where my clients may explore challenges while developing new insights and skills to move them towards positive solutions. I embrace a solution focused approach with an emphasis on small steps to achieve specific goals. In my work with clients, I take great strides to address the whole person, looking at each individual’s overall wellness and satisfaction in life. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking in the forests and state parks of NJ and NY, kayaking in slow moving lakes or rivers and camping in my little Scamp travel trailer with my partner and cat, Pepper. I also love trying out a new restaurant and spending time watching a good movie.
