Tired of feeling like you are on a roller coaster with your emotions? Family and friends sometimes say "you're too much"? Are you starting to feel like you are too much? Therapy is the place to help sort out your feelings. Most everyone goes through hard times at some point and having someone there to walk with you during those times is important. Although I cannot make it easy, I can sit with you, so you are not doing this alone. I am passionate about helping adolescents (15+) and adults.
My Background and Approach
Mindfulness and self-care are core beliefs that I hold in my practice. Taking care of the mind, body and spirit together are important. In conjunction with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I utilize tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as other therapy modalities to provide an individualized treatment plan that works best for you. I bring with me a personal philosophy of self-reliance, resiliency and a strengths-based perspective into my practice. Mindfulness and self-care are core beliefs that I hold in my practice.
