About My Clients
As a therapist, I value warm, meaningful connection, collaborative curiosity, and draw deeply from my own intersectional identity. While I have a diverse clinical background, my best work has been with women and folks navigating emerging/transitional life stages (young adults, perinatal/postpartum, parenthood, aging), and/or exploring BIPOC, transnational/immigrant identities.
My Background and Approach
My work focuses on promoting deeper wellness and considers the entire axis of the human experience: from what appears in the here and now to a deep dive into your life. I take on a relational, psychodynamic approach, often incorporating mindfulness based practices, radical compassion and acceptance, attachment theory, and internal family systems frameworks.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a 1.5 generation Korean-American cisgender woman who is committed to working towards a world where we can be whole. I am inclusive and affirming and believe in our fundamental right to live with joy, agency, health, safety, and ease.
