About My Clients
My clients tend to be thoughtful, self-aware people who understand themselves pretty well, but still find themselves stuck in the same patterns. You might struggle to know what you want, trust your feelings, set boundaries, tolerate conflict, or be fully honest in relationships. You may be great at understanding everyone else while losing track of yourself. I work especially well with people who are curious about themselves and ready to look a little deeper.
My Background and Approach
I’m a relational, attachment-focused therapist who believes insight matters, but insight alone doesn’t always create change. My approach is active, curious, and collaborative. I’ll help you notice patterns, make connections, and slow down enough to pay attention to what’s happening underneath the story, including emotions, physical sensations, conflicting parts of yourself, and the ways you protect yourself when something feels vulnerable. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and draw from attachment theory, AEDP, Emotionally Focused Therapy, parts work, and existential approaches. I’m especially interested in how our relationships shape us and how we can become more honest with ourselves and others without abandoning our own needs. I’ll ask questions, offer observations, gently challenge you, and help us make sense of what keeps happening and why. My goal is therapy that feels warm and human while also giving us somewhere meaningful to go.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe there are many ways to build a meaningful life, family, and relationship, and I care deeply about people having the freedom to figure out what genuinely works for them rather than simply following the path they were handed. I’m queer and part of the consensual non-monogamy community myself, so my work with LGBTQ+ and polyamorous clients is both professionally and personally meaningful to me. I value curiosity, authenticity, social justice, bodily autonomy, and the right to define your own relationships and identity. Outside the therapy room, I’m a homebody, gardener, creative-project enthusiast, and devoted aunt. I love making things, learning new skills, tending an increasingly unruly garden, and having long conversations about relationships, culture, and why people are the way they are.
