About My Clients

I work with individuals struggling with self-esteem, body image issues, excessive worry, and mood dysregulation among others. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore the root of these challenges and help clients build healthier relationships with themselves and others. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in negative self-talk, or having difficulty managing emotions, I’m here to help you feel understood, empowered, and equipped with tools for lasting change.

My Background and Approach

My therapeutic approach is integrative, rooted in evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation and distress tolerance, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster psychological flexibility and values-based living. I’m also trauma-informed, ensuring a safe, supportive environment that honors each person’s pace and experiences. Additionally, I incorporate principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients explore and understand their inner parts with compassion and curiosity. By blending these approaches, I aim to empower clients to better understand themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is always to meet clients where they are, fostering a therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, safety, and collaboration.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow and change. Old behaviors and patterns, even those deeply rooted in past experiences, can be understood and transformed through therapy. I also believe that people who are hurting have often been hurt—our struggles often stem from earlier wounds. Trauma-informed therapy helps us explore how our attachments, beliefs about ourselves, and behaviors were shaped, and how they can be healed. By understanding the "why" behind what we do, we create space for compassion, healing, and lasting change.
