About My Clients
I’ve worked with adults of all ages, including new moms and dads, veterans, and first responders. I have experience supporting people through life transitions, the highs and lows of pregnancy and parenthood, relationship challenges, anxiety, and depression. I am deeply passionate about supporting prenatal and postpartum parents on their journeys.
My Background and Approach
I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Longwood University in 2013 and my masters in counseling from Hawaii Pacific University in 2018. I have experience working with adults of all ages, new mothers and fathers, veterans, and first responders in both inpatient and outpatient settings facilitating individual, couples, and group therapies. I’ve worked with clients facing life transitions, interpersonal relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and trauma histories.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the therapeutic relationship and a warm, welcoming environment are vital to productive therapy. I utilize a person centered approach, focused on meeting clients where they are and targeting their specific goals. I pull techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy to implement the skills that would best serve the client while gently providing direct feedback when needed. My approach is holistic, genuine, and evidence based. My intention is to cultivate a healing environment conducive to processing my client’s personal experiences. Together we can work towards navigating life’s challenges and identifying areas for growth, empowerment, and healing.
