About My Clients
The individuals who work with me find a space of open, affirmative, and empowering support that promotes self-determination and enhanced personal growth. I see young adults, adults, and teens (16+) who seek support in facing some of life’s most difficult challenges, trauma, loss, and life transition.
My Background and Approach
Having a diverse professional background working in substance and alcohol use treatment clinics, hospice, education admin., and medical specialty offices. As a result, I possess a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, and physical health and the impact of social, cultural, and environmental factors on individuals, families, and communities. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive-behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Mindfulness-based interventions and empowerment-oriented perspective in my work, focusing on building clients' existing resources and resilience to promote positive and purposeful change. I provide individual and group therapy to clients with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and life transition challenges.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their challenges and strengths, build skills and resilience, and achieve their goals for personal growth and well-being. Additionally, I am committed to advocacy and social justice, working to address systemic issues that impact the health and well-being of marginalised individuals and communities.
